Lowe’s, the US home improvement store chain, takes us for a visual effects laden tour of the home in “Explosion”, a new television commercial directed by Dave Meyers at Radical Media. VFX from MassMarket reveals the inner components of a house’s construction as the homeowners go through their normal day. From the front door deadbolt down to the wood frame that holds it all together, the viewer watches as it all comes apart, then comes back together, to be kept track of at the My Lowes website.

The Lowes Exploded ad was developed at BBDO, New York, by chief creative officer David Lubars, executive creative director Wil Boudreau, creative director Joe Volicelli, copywriter Colin Ilsey, art director Jake Blumenau, agency producer Kevin Wilson, assistant producer Zubin Simpson, executive music and radio producer Loren Parkins, account director Megan Bundy, account supervisor Kaitlin Higgins.
