Draftfcb is a global advertising agency networks, formed in 2006 through the merger of Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) and Draft. The agency is driven by a singular focus on consumer behavior as expressed by its proprietary 6.5 Seconds That MatterSM operating system, which recognizes the brief period of time marketers have to capture consumers’ attention through creative executions that inspire them to act.

Foote, Cone & Belding began as Lord & Thomas in Chicago, 1873. The company was purchased by Albert Lasker in 1912 who sold it in 1942 to Emerson H. Foote in New York, Fairfax Cone in Chicago and Don Belding in California. Draft began in 1978 as Kobs & Brady, a direct marketing agency, acquired by Ted Bates Worldwide in 1986. The agency was renamed Kobs & Draft in 1988 when account executive Howard Draft became Chairman and CEO. The agency regained its independence In 1995 and was renamed Draft Direct Worldwide. Draft Direct Worldwide was purchased by The Interpublic Group of Companies in 1996.
