Manawai Surf House, a Slovenian surf club, is promoting its year-round surf school on Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands with “Endless Summer”, a classic surf-fueled music video set to “Color on the Walls (Don’t Stop) by Foster The People.
Cancer Patients’ Association of Slovenia (Društvo onkoloških bolnikov Slovenije) marked its 25th anniversary this year with “Countless Reasons to Live”, an integrated advertising campaign using photography and film to assure cancer patients that they are not alone. The campaign’s home at nestetorazlogov.si provides visitors an opportunity to contribute one of their countless reasons to live, read other entries and view photos and videos from well known Slovenian artists. The campaign also included TV ads, print ads, a Facebook application, web banners, radio ads, Facebook, Twitter, an art exhibition, a book and T-shirts.

Results are out for the 18th Golden Drum Awards, held in Potoroz, Sovenia, October 5-8, 2011. This year’s theme, “New Europe New Thinking” is a long term challenge given to agencies, advertisers, media houses and others engaged in the creative industry to step up and face an ever faster evolving market and an extremely demanding new kind of customer. We’ve listed here the Grand Prix winners.
The Golden Drum Awards for 2010 have been presented in Potoroz, Slovenia. This year’s theme is “Reconstruction”. After a very sad past year, after destruction of old structures and former eternal truths, advertising needs RECONSTRUCTION, renewed optimism and enthusiasm. We’ve listed here Grand Prix and Gold Award winners for the year.
The Golden Drum awards, held in Portoroz, Slovenia, between 4 and 9 October, culminated in a grand ceremony revealing a range of Drums, Winged Nikes and Golden Drum Grand Prix awards. The Golden Rose, presented to the best new European agency of the year, went to Leo Burnett Beirut, who had also won the Golden Net award. The Awards week was promoted this year with the theme of brainstorming, highlighted in a set of three posters and print advertisements.
