Mars in Russia launched a limited edition of the Snickers bar in Russia called Snickers More Nuts, with advertising aimed at teenage boys target marget. BBDO Moscow focused the advertising campaign on the concept, “There are so many nuts in Snickers More Nuts that squirrels, being great nuts lovers, freak out with astonishment”. The campaign won a Golden Hammer and a Golden Drum award.

The Dopludo Collective, a group of designers based in St Petersburg, Russia, is gaining a reputation for provocative street posters, using little more than text and strategic placement of work. In “Secret of Happiness”, the creative angle is the missing text – supposedly “stolen”.

Masterfood Russia commissioned a series of four television commercials featuring futuristic mechanized sports, powered by the Snickers bar. “Animal Tag”, “Rugby”, were preceded by two earlier spots, “Gliders” and “Robots” appeal to a generation focused on virtual gaming. Each ends with the tag line, “Snickers – Don’t Stop”.
