H-57 Design Commandments

H-57, an creative studio in Milan, Italy, has launched a poster with a set of rules for effective design. It could be said that creativity has no rules. Well, almost no rules. H-57 creatives found their personal guidelines for creativity, drew them on paper, cut out the pieces and glued them on a big sheet of cardboard. By the end of the project, the creative team realized that these rules are what really guide us every single day.

Prada Candy L’Eau

Prada has launched “Prada Candy L’Eau”, a series of three short films directed by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. Gene (Peter Gadiot) and Julius (Rodolphe Pauly) compete for the attention of Candy, a young woman played by French actress Lea Séydoux, who represents the essence of the new Candy L’Eau perfume. The campaign has been unrolled over the last week on prada.com/candy and on the Prada Youtube channel.

Yamaha Marine is running a print advertising campaign presenting the sea as the medicine required for the ills of land locked readers. The sea environmen, including dolphins, rays and sharks, is presented in the form of a pill, a vial and dropper. “Yamaha Marine. The sea is the cure.”

Benetton Faces of Color

United Colors of Benetton has launched Faces of Color, a new integrated campaign for the Spring Summer 2013 collection, featuring nine ambassadors for life and style, distinguished by their multiculturalism, cosmopolitan spirit and social commitment. The nine models commit themselves to the Unhate campaign: Kiera Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, an active supporter of UNESCO, Dudley O’Shaughnessy, British former national welterweight boxing champion; Uruguayan chef Matias Perdomo, Californian Charlotte Free, known for her pink hair, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, a model from Tunisia, Lea T, a Brazilian transsexual model; Alek Wek, a model from Sudan; Elettra Wiedemann, a model that loves ecology, Mario Galla, a German model with disabilities. The images from the campaign will become a limited edition T-shirt that will be sold across the world, online at shop.benetton.com and in flagship United Colors of Benetton stores. All proceeds raised from the sale of the T-shirts will be donated in support of the activities of the UNHATE Foundation.

Paddy Power We Hear You in Italy

PaddyPower is running “We Hear You”, an advertising campaign focusing on the concerns expressed by football fans. First launched in the UK, the campaign has moved to Italy with a pair of films providing off-beat solutions to corruption and match fixing, designed in response to comments by Facebook fans. “Jesus” (banned by some Italian broadcasters) answers a fan who thinks Italian football is in such a mess that only a miracle can save it. “Billionaire” addresses a fan’s complaint about overpaid footballers.
