Press the G8 in Italy - July 15th, 2009

The Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP) is running a multi-media campaign, Press the G8, gathering public pressure on G8 nations to both accelerate efforts to address poverty and avoid using the recession as an excuse to renege on aid commitments. The Press the 8 public campaign was launched in Rome in early June by City Mayor Gianni Alemanno, timed to lead up to the G8 meeting held L’Aquila, Italy, July 8 to 10.

Soleterre Feeding The Children - July 14th, 2009

Soleterre ONLUS is a non-profit humanitarian association working both in Italy and abroad to advocate for human rights and provide health and education services and food, mainly to children and women in conditions of desperate poverty. The current focus of the organisation is on two African countries where on average six percent of children die in their first month of life, the Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone. An advertising campaign has been launched with the tag line, “Every child should be allowed to make a child”, “Ogni Bambino Dovrebbe Poter Fare Il Bambino”. This poster, developed at JWT Milan, along with the Soleterre website, is intended to raise awareness about the problems of the two African states and raise funds for development projects there. The press and poster campaign was awarded a bronze in the Italian ADCI Awards 2009 (Art Directors Club Italia). See also the poster in Italian and the Soleterre YouTube channel.

Gucci Flora I Feel Love - July 8th, 2009

Gucci Flora, a scent launched by Italian fashion house Gucci, was promoted in a television commercial featuring the music of Donna Summer, the directing talent of Chris Cunningham and Australian model Abbey Lee. The spot won a Gold Film Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival 2009 for Best Use of Music.

Lamborghini Product Range 2008 - May 6th, 2009

Lamborghini’s product range was presented in 2008 as extreme, uncompromising and minimalist with an award-winning series of photographs by Jürgen Berderow. The campaign, developed by Philipp und Keuntje, Munich, won a gold award for photography at the Montreux International Advertising and Media Fesitval in April 2009. Models featured are the Gallardo Superleggera, Mercielago LP 640, Gallardo Spyder, Mercielago LP 640 Roadster and Reventón.

Lamborghini Feels Italian Wherever You Are - May 5th, 2009

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A stamped Italian culture on new environments with an international print advertising campaign, “Feels Italian. Wherever you are.” The company, owned by Audi, present their Italian sports car in what appears to be Mexico, the USA and England. Each image contains a subtle reference to Italian culture and a reminder that the car is still manufactured in the town of Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
