WWF Greece is asking Earth Hour participants to use a Facebook application, where they can upload and share a message of what they think can be saved in an effort to protect the environment. The online campaign is designed to remind Greeks that conservation is not a luxury to be discarded in times of financial crisis. Saving Greece’s natural resources allows the country to reap the rewards nature gives back. We can save “The Greek escape”, “the olive oil”, “the big blue” and ultimately, the “Greek pride”.
