Orange rewinds love in “Rewind City”, a commercial which has just won the Grand Prix for TV/Cinema/Digital at the Cresta Awards 2009. The ad was produced in association with Michel Gondry’s 2008 film, Be Kind Rewind. The award follows on from the advertisement’s success at the Epica Awards, London International Awards (Silver for Editing), Eurobest 2008 (Silver) and Cannes International Advertising Festival (Bronze).

Orange is collaborating with RockCorps in France to run a charity campaign centering around an October 2 concert in Le Zénith. Rockcorp is a production company that promotes volunteering in exchange for concert tickets, using the slogan “Give 4 Hours, Get 1 Ticket”. Orange Rockcorp UK’s success was taken to Orange Rockcorp France with a concert featuring R&B singer Akon, DJ David Guetta, rappers Busta Rhymes and Sefyu, promoted with a series of music-focused television commercials.

Amnesty International France aims to make it difficult for certain national leaders to sleep at night, with the help of Insomnia, an advertising campaign online at nuitsdamnesty.amnesty.fr and Facebook. The 5th edition of the Amnesty nights is running from Thursday 22 to Sunday, October 25, 2009 with hundreds of cultural events throughout France. From Toulouse to Mulhouse via Paris or Angers, artists from different backgrounds are joining Amnesty International France (AIF) to raise awareness of human rights in an original and festive fashion.

The Whiskas “Oh So” cat food range was promoted in 2007 with a range of origami animals captured on film by British photographer Rankin. Sardine, Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Pork flavours are represented by five animals set against a plain, softly tinted backdrop. Delicate touches including a daisy in the mouth of the cow and a nest for the chicken. The ads, launched in press, in-store, online and DM channels in June to August 2007, aimed to show how feeding your feline tasty food is part of a loving relationship between a cat and its owner.
