Space Channel Design

Space Channel, a branch of Turner Broadcasting System based in Argentina, invited Vetor Zero and Lobo to develop a new on air package, composed of idents, bumpers and menus, totaling 104 pieces and 12 minutes of 3D animation. Initiated two years ago, the extensive creative process took off using as main reference the work of artist and designer Syd Mead, responsible for the concept art of sci-fi films like Blade Runner, Aliens, Tron and Star Trek. With a team of more than 30 people, the production company created fantastic characters and scenarios that translate the thrill-packed spirit of Space’s programming, with a dramatic and hiper-realistic finish. The pieces were divided in four franchises (with portuguese and spanish versions): one generic and three thematic for specific programming slots, dedicated to series, films and sports. Among the highly detailed visuals the channel logo stands out, always incorporated into the narrative as part of props or settings. The yellow of the brand also gains strength in contrast with the overall grayish monochrome.

Huggies My First Friend

Kimberly Clark celebrated the Huggies connection with International Friendship Day in Argentina by bringing together two babies born on the same day, July 20. Ogilvy & Mather designed a special crib so that on Friendship Day two newborn babies could spend this event together. The idea was registered at the Bazterrica Clinic in Buenos Aires and was supported by the baby’s parents, obstetricians and nurses. In order to accompany each family during the last minutes before giving birth, the agency got involved with the obstetricians and couples who were expecting their babies to be born on Friendship Day. They shared with the parents the anxiety of all the preparations and their journey to the hospital. A few hours after the babies were born, they both had their first friend right alongside.
