Twerking Puppies Shake Your Hindquarters

Hindquarters, a dog products company in the UK, is developing an online presence with Twerking Puppies Shake Your Hindquarters, a lighthearted video featuring dancing dogs and their admirers. Taking a pop promo style approach to capitalise on the popularity of music genre videos consumed online, the film points satirically to butt-shaking music videos. Starring a plethora of dogs in all shapes and sizes, the pooches are shown dancing and provocatively wagging their butts into the camera. Music is “Walk the dog”, the quintessential canine voguing theme by Geranimo & Mikey, Basement Jaxx’s Felix Buxton and Mikey Woodbridge. The campaign features gifs on the Hindquarters instagram page.

Alex Sattlecker from Saatchi & Saatchi, London said, “We wanted to get the name Hindquarters out there. And how else, we thought, than twerking dogs? We didn’t consider that dogs normally don’t twerk no matter how many times you ask them to. But we got there in the end.”
