Lifebuoy Handle on Hygiene
Lifebuoy’s Handle on Hygiene, a supermarket trolley hygiene device launched in Dubai, has won the Grand Prix Outdoor at the Dubai Lynx Awards. Launched in early 2015, the project is entered on a device attached to trolley handles, applying a thin layer of Lifebuoy sanitiser liquid, killing 99.9% of germs with one simple swipe. Carrefour supermarkets have installed the Lifebuoy Handle on Hygiene across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The project was featured at the Unilever United Nations Sustainable Development Summit in 2015.
The Life Buoy Handle on Hygiene project was developed at Geometry Global, Dubai, in association with Memac Ogilvy and Ogilvy Singapore, by executive creative director Ben Knight, creative director/art director and copywriter Logan Allanson, inventor/art director and copywriter Christian Louzado, designers Calvin Wei Sheau Yeng, Viko Ferrari and Rocelo Lamboloto, general manager Nick Walsh, group account director Anna Start, client services team Siwar Khodr, Ivy Siby and Omar Bitar, head of creative services Alvin Chin, working with Unilever Gulf managing manager Bora Usal and brand manager Zina Gorbacheva.
