Siemens Sound of Wind
Siemens advertising campaign “Sound of Wind” has won Gold for Film Technique at the 2015 Clio Awards. Released in July 2014, the Siemens USA commercial and 3 minute documentary presents the Johann Strauss waltz Blue Danube using sounds from the wind, showcasing Siemens wind energy solutions. The documentary outlines the partnership between Siemens and MidAmerica Energy in the production of 448 wind turbines, providing renewable energy to the people of Iowa and the Midwest. The Siemens Sound of Wind campaign, including television, online videos and print ads, connects with the Answers campaign launched in 2007.
The Siemens Sounds of Wind campaign was developed at Ogilvy New York, by chief creative officer Alfonso Marian, creative directors Doreen Fox and Andrea Scotting, group account director Scott Townsend, account manager Jessica Phelan, planner Andy Jones, executive producer Melanie Baublis, senior producer Ruben Mercadal.
Filming was shot by director Josh Nussbaum via m ss ng p eces, New York, with director of photography Alex Khudokon, production managers Alex Bach and Alexander Toporowicz, executive producers Ari Kuschnir and Kate Oppenheim, production director Dave Saltzman and and producer Molly McMillen.
