Cineplex Lily and The Snowman
Cineplex, a theatre circuit in Canada, is running “Lily and the Snowman”, an animated short film featuring a young woman and a snowman. It’s a touching piece about growing up and remembering the things in life that matter. Every winter, a magical snowman puts on a cinematic show for a little girl. But over time, life pulls them apart. Will she remember to take the time for what she loved? The film is being screened in cinemas as well as online at cineplex.com/snowman and cineplex.com/BONHOMMEdeNEIGE
The Cineplex Lily and the Snowman commercial was developed at Zulu Alpha Kilo by chief creative officer Zak Mroueh, executive creative director Allen Oke, associate creative directors Noel Fenn and Andrew Caie, art director Guilherme Bermejo, copywriter Nick Doerr, agency producer Tara Handley, strategic planner Ebrahim El Kalza, account team Mike Sutton, Roy Gruia, Laura Robinson, working with Cineplex marketing team Susan Mandryk, Peter Furnish, Darren Solomon, Maxine Chapman, and Laura Mingail.
Animation was produced at Hornet Inc. by directors Dan Abdo and Jason Patterson, director Hyesung Park, character designer Peter de Sève, and producer Desiree Stavracos.
Sound and music were produced at Vapor Music by audio directors Joey Serlin, Brendan Quinn, producer Kailee Nowosad, engineer Julian Rudd, music licensing director Heather Gardner. Music is “Follow You, Follow Me” by Genesis, written by Phil Collins, Anthony Banks, Michael Rutherford, performed here by Adaline (English) and Julie Crochetière (French), published by Imagem Music and made available by arrangement with Casablanca Media Publishing.
