CIL Beauty on a small budget
CIL (Canadian Industries Limited) is promoting the CIL Premium Paint + Primer $29 deal with “Beauty on a small Budget”, a commercial featuring a miniature room. DDB Canada created a real looking miniature room and gave it a makeover with CIL Premium applied with mini rollers and brushes, along with a few mini design accents like new pillows and lamps. “It’s easy to get a premium look without paying a premium price”
The CIL Beauty on a small budget campaign was developed at DDB Canada, Toronto, by chief creative officer Cosmo Campbell, executive creative director Paul Wallace, creative director David Ross, art director Liam Johnstone, senior copywriter Frank Macera, strategic planner Brandon Smith, group account director Amy Mateer, account supervisor Kristine Lafreniere, account executive Kate-Lynn Merkowsky, and senior producer Lorrie Zwer.
Post production was done at Rooster Post by editor Izzy Ehrlich, assistant editor Craig Jay. Finishing was done at Fort York VFX by online artist Ernie Mordak, online assistant Jason Pererira. Colour and transfer were produced at The Vanity by colourist Andrew Exworth.
Sound was designed at Boombox Sound.
Music is “Gopher Mambo” by Peruvian soprano Yma Sumac, composed by Moises Vivanco.
Media was handled at PHD Media by digital media planner Marianne Desfossés.
