Shakira brings La La La to FIFA World Cup
The FIFA World Cup’s official music in 2014 includes Dare (La La La) Brazil, a reworking of Shakira‘s song from her self titled studio album Shakira. The music video brings together traditional Brazilian imagery and football motifs, ending with an Activia branded appeal for the World Food Programme and its School Meals initiative. Cameo appearances are made by Lionel Messi, Neymar, Cesc Fàbregas, Sergio Agüero, Radamel Falcao, James Rodríguez and Eric Abidal, Shakira’s boyfriend Gerard Piqué and their son Milan.
The FIFA music video follows on from “Dare to Feel Good”, an Activia yogurt commercial featuring Shakira feeling happy inside herself.
The La La La (Brazil) music video was shot by director Jaime de Laiguana.
The Activia ad was developed at Vinizius Y&R, Barcelona, by creative directors Manu Diez, Victor Arriazu, Albert Seguin, Alejandro Pallares, copywriters Luca Casaura, Arnau Clofent, Nicolas Frerejean, Jordi Guitart, global account directors Alberto Bel and Carol Juarez and agency producer Lidia Vilar. Filming was shot by director Jaume De Laiguana with director of photography Javier Aguirresarobe, art director Eugenio Caballero, producers Pablo Martinez and Sergi Ciuro. Post production was done at El Ranchito by producer Rafa Solorzano.
