Microsoft has revealed the next generation Xbox One, during a Reveal conference held in Redmond, Washington. The Xbox One is designed to provide an integrated platform for games, TV, movies, music, sports and Skype. The Connect interactive hardware is incorporated with the new platform. Users are able to navigate and watch television live through their XBox One. “Snap” allows multitasking. Skype, acquired by Microsoft in 2011, has been built into the Xbox experience with HD group calls on the television. Users are able to follow entertainment trends among their friends and in the wider Xbox community. The Xbox One is build around an eight-core, x86 processor and more than 5 billion transistors.
