The United Nations marked World Food Day on October 16 with the release of two short films, “Hunger is a Monster” and “Hunger is a Tyrant”, narrated by Hollywood stars Dakota and Elle Fanning. The Zero Hunger Challenge films are part of the Hunger Personified series which characterizes hunger as animate threats. Hunger is a Tyrant, narrated by Dakota Fanning, depicts hunger as a snarling, storming dictator, destroying everything and everyone in its path. Hunger is a Monster, narrated by Elle Fanning, is a variation on Little Red Riding Hood, representing hunger as a wolf-like creature.
