Toronto Crime Stoppers is running “Leave No Trace”, an advertising campaign using cartoon violence to address an increase in crime in Toronto schools. Two YouTube videos, “Alien-bear-chef-steamroller-catapult-blackhole” and “Fire-elephant-pumpkin-zombies-bomb-ninjas-button” and a Tumblr site, whenyouleaveatip.tumblr.com, send the message to young people that the service will protect the anonymity of those who call with tips on criminal activity.
The Leave No Trace campaign was developed at DDB Canada Toronto by executive creative directors Todd Mackie and Denise Rossetto, associate creative director/art director Paul Riss, associate creative director/copywriter Rob Sturch, agency producer Caroline Clarke, account supervisor Carly Sutherland, account supervisor Rico Tudico, strategist Lisa Hart, social media strategist Laura Muirhead, community cultivation manager James Ly.
Animation was produced at La Flama by director Luis Torres and executive producer Jorge Bobadilla.
