The Gift of Reading: Kobo Mother’s Day
Kobo has launched “The Gift of Reading”, a television commercial celebrating the role of mothers in the nurture of reading. There are those who read. And then there are Readers – those who have to read. Whether it was cuddling up with Peter Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh, or another beloved story time companion, Mom was there. The spot is running in Canada, the U.S., Australia and other international markets.
The Mother’s Day campaign was developed at john st, Toronto, by creative directors Stephen Jurisic, Angus Tucker, copywriters Kurt Mills, Dhaval Bhatt, art directors Kyle Lamb, David Glen, agency producers Anne Marie Martignago and Ryan Bourret, account service team Melissa Tobenstein, Tina Tieu, Todd Bennie, brand experience planners Tammy Chiasson and J.J. Sullivan.
Filming was shot by director Mark Zibert via Sons & Daughters, and Moonlighting, South Africa, with executive producers Liane Thomas, line producer Andrew Sulliman, director of photography Matthias Rudh.
