The King Khalid Charitable Foundation in Saudi Arabia has launched a ground breaking print advertising campaign raising awareness of domestic abuse. A woman with a bruised eye looks out through a hijab. The English translation of the text: “Some things can’t be covered. Fighting women’s abuse together”, with a link to the campaign site, kkf.org.sa/nomoreabuse. The site provides information on research into domestic violence in Saudi Arabia, along with links to organisations who are already addressing the issue.
The Some Things Can’t Be Hidden campaign was developed at Memac Ogilvy, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by creative director/art director/copywriter Scott Abbott, copywriter Jimmy Youssef, photographer Ali Riffai and Abdul Rahim Bukhamseen.
