Scribe Mexico, a stationery company, has just released a short film bringing together the illustrations featured in the award-winning Scribe Billboard campaign. Illustrator Cecilia Beaven lived for ten days inside an outdoor panel in Mexico City, creating illustrations each day inspired by Twitter messages from the public. Characters such as a rabbit DJ, a swordfish that serves burgers, a surfing giraffe, or a taxi driver Pegasus have now been animated by Vetor Zero/Lobo in a television and cinema commercial reinforcing the brand signature, “Scribe tus ideas” (Scribe your ideas).
The Billboard campaign was developed at La Doblevida by chief creative officers Juan Pablo Manazza and Manuel Camacho, creative director/art director Roberto Flores, copywriters Eduardo García and Carlos Pérez “la Novia”, art directors Javier Fajardo and Iván Mayorquín, agency producers Ana Tiscareno and Nancy Vilchis, planner Ariana Gonzalez, account supervisor Miguel Mendiola working with Group Papelero Scribe marketing team Ezequiel Daneri, Pilar Gillabert, Claudia Caballero and Fernando Rincón.
Illustration was by Cecilia Beaven.
Animation was produced at Vetor Zero/Lobo by director/animator team Birdo Studio (Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet), director Gabriel Nobrega, executive producers Luiz Carlos Reis, Alberto Lopes and Sergio Salles, and coordinator Maisa Mendonça.
Music is by Nacho Retally at Equis Cosa in collaboration with creative director Manuel Camacho.
