Renault UK is running an online video campaign featuring a fictitious “Va Va Voom” button. Unsuspecting men and women are taken for test drives in the new Clio Dynamique Medianav dCi 90 Stop & Start with optional 17″ Desire alloy wheels. When they push the Va Va Voom button, under the instruction of their salesman, their South London street is transformed into a bustling Parisian suburb. Actors recreate scenes reminiscent of Renault advertising of the past, along with a burlesque performance by clantily clad female dancers and muscled men. The Va Va Voom button is not currently available to purchase.
The social video campaign, distributed through Unruly, is part of a wider offline and digital campaign planned and bought by Manning Gottlieb OMD by Laura Quy and Lauren Fisher.
