Qatar Airways and FC Barcelona

Qatar Airways has released a film to promote its sponsorship of Barcelona FC in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup in 2022. The ad features a Qatar Airways cabin attendant as she travels through the island, meeting FC Barcelona players past and present, before reaching her final destination: Camp Nou. Barcelona players fill various jobs around the city, including Piqué (customs official), Neymar (traveler), Iniesta and Sergio Busquets (football artists), Messi (teacher), Puyol (the protector), Mascherano and Jordi Alba. The Walkers ambassador and former England star Gary Lineker, who played for Barça in the 1980s, also makes an appearance as a taxi driver. The ad forms part of the wider campaign “Qatar Airways and FC Barcelona – a team that unites the world”.
