Papa Murphy’s International is promoting the chain’s popular Jack-o-Lantern shaped Halloween pizza with “Horror of Hungry Trick Or Treaters”, a horror-filled television commercial. “Scary” is a horror movie spoof complete with tired, crabby, hungry children out trick-or-treating in their costumed finery.
The Scary campaign was developed at Wong, Doody, Crandall, Wiener (WDCW) by executive creative director Tracy Wong, senior copywriter Jennie Moore, art director Adam Deer, account director Garth Knutson, account executive Anea Klix, executive producer Steph Huske and producer Patti Emery, working with Papa Murphys Director of Brand & Communications Diana McCallister and Brand Marketing Manager Amy Day.
Post production was done at Lustre Communications by principal Cameron Campbell, head of production Karri McGough, editor John Jeffcoat, graphic designer and animator Karina Dion.
Telecine was produced at Lightpress by colourists Jeff Tillotson and Shane Dillon and producer Amanda Kay Helmick.
Sound was designed at HEARby Sound by sound engineer John Buroker and executive producer Nannette Buroker.
