Norwegian Air Shuttle ran a full page print ad in Finland’s biggest newspaper Helsingin Sanomat on Christmas Eve, providing readers with a last minute gift wrapping. The campaign provided Norwegian with a way to Merry Christmas and give thanks to their Finnish customers, who had just chosen them as the most liked airline in Finland (EPSI 2013 research). “Suomalaiset, kiitos ehkä parhaasta lahjasta ikinä” (Finns, thank you for the best gift ever). The message was also conveyed on the Norwegian Finland Facebook page.
The Christmas Wrap campaign was developed at 358, Helsinki, by creative director/art director Antero Jokinen, copywriter Antti Tähtinen, graphic designer Isa Jokela-Gomes, producer Elina Tähtinen, strategists Dan Goodall and Peter Barmer, and account team director Kimmo Tupala.
