Kia is promoting the 2014 Kia Forte in “Hotbots”, a Super Bowl XLVII television commercial featuring 2011 Miss USA Alyssa Campanella. The all-new 2014 Kia Forte is designed for those who love technology. And nobody loves technology more than sexy high-tech robots. Two beautiful hotbots unveil the new Forte at a press event. Things take an unexpected turn after one reporter gets a little too close to their prized possession and decides to kick the tires. Let’s just say he learns an important lesson: Always respect the tech.
“Hotbots” is scheduled to air during the third quarter of Super Bowl XLVII on February 3 and introduces the technology-laden Forte, which will offer the next iteration of Kia’s hands-free infotainment and telematics system, UVO eServices, when it goes on sale in the coming months. The Super Bowl spot is part of a fully integrated marketing campaign incorporating TV, digital, print, social media and in-dealership components.
The Kia Hotbots ad was developed at David&Goliath by chief creative officer David Angelo, executive creative director Colin Jeffery, creative directors Gary DuToit and Eron Broughton, associate creative director/copywriter Greg Buri, associate creative director/art director Basil Cowieson, executive producers Carol Lombard and Paul Albanese.
