HTC Here’s To Change

Mobile phone company HTC is running “Here’s To Change”, an advertising campaign featuring Robert Downey Jr. The campaign is based on the idea that HTC stands for anything you want it to. Downey Jr suggests different things the brand name could be short for, such as Humongous Tinfoil Catamaran, Hipster Troll Carwash, Hot Tea Catapult and Hold This Cat.

Fun HTC campaign video with Downey Jr. I believe the HTC acronym used to stand for High Tech Computer Corporation – but ‘Hot Tea Catapult’ or ‘Hold This Cat’ definitely make more sense.
