Google Doodle honors Maurice Sendak
Google has honoured American illustrator and writer Maurice Sendak with an animated doodle, marking his birthday of June 10, 1928, 85 years ago. Sendak, who died in May 2012, is best known for his book “Where the Wild Things Are”, first published in 1963.
