Day Joy, a band based in Orlando, Florida, has released “Go To Sleep Mess”, a music video promoting their upcoming album. The music video features a dream-like world in which a time space continuum funnels childhood emotional trauma into the present consciousness of a blue-collar man struggling with addiction. Two worlds collide in balletic form against the backdrop of a seemingly familiar landscape.
The Go To Sleep Mess video, commissioned by Small Plates Records, was shot on location in Kennebunk, Maine, by director Michael Lawrence, director/editor and VFX producer Alex Amoling, with steadicam/camera operator Kyle Wullschleger, production designer and costume stylist Kelly Thomas, colorist Juan Salvo and sound designer Kyle Miller.
Actors are Rylee Jones and Alex Amoling.
