David Bowie Where Are We Now?

David Bowie has released a music video for his new single, “Where Are We Now?”. Released to mark his 66th birthday, the song is the first single David Bowie has produced in ten years. The music video features David Bowie’s face superimposed onto a teddy bear alongside that of Jacqueline Humphries, wife of film director Tony Oursler, as footage of Berlin through the years appears around them. The song is the lead single from Bowie’s new album, “The Next Day,” which comes out in March.

Filming was shot by director Tony Oursler. Oursler also created the background videos that played at David Bowie’s 50th birthday party concert in 1997.

  1. “Where Are We Now” is cryptic. Is he literally showing us the bottle is empty?

The song is easier to play than it is to sing: https://sites.google.com/site/fasmusicvideowherearewenow/

Quite like this song. Its better than the recent Scott Walker or Nick Cave. For my money Paul Amlehn is the best one, not well known, but he is the strongest working today
