D&AD Pencils Win One Die Happy
Entry to the D&AD Awards 2013 is closing on 30 January 2013. The call for entries is marked this year by the theme, “Win One Die Happy”. A series of print advertisements features previous winners facing their imminent deaths with smiles on their faces. An online film features a band of colleagues who face the end of the world with happiness knowing that they hold in their hands yellow and black D&AD Pencils.
Four creatives, Bruce Duckworth, Martin Lambie-Nairn, Peter Souter and Laura Jordan-Bambach, drink at the Hand & Racquet in London, despite calls for evacuation and the imminent arrival of a huge asteroid. The Win One Die Happy campaign was developed at Dare London by creative team Andrew Edleston and Pippa Harrigan and producer Desiree Bors.
