When Asian fans hear live sporting events on Beijing Sports Radio, the coverage is so good it feels like they’re actually there. Three print advertisements, “Soccer”, “Golf” and “Horse Racing”, show fans soaking in the action with their eyes closed. The campaign won a Gold Press Lion at Cannes International Festival of Creativity 2013.
The Eyes Closed campaign was developed at Ogilvy Hong Kong by executive creative directors Simon Handford and Sandy Chan, creative director/art director Alvin Lim, art director Sonny Tjahjadi, associate creative director/copywriter Richard Sorensen, and account manager Jason Pan. Photography was retouched at A Thousand Eyes.
