Acik Radyo Music of the People

Açık Radyo (Open Radio) is a Turkish radio station that covers global social and cultural issues as well as airing all types of music from all around the world. They go by the motto “open to all sounds of the universe”. Their print advertisement, “Music of the People”, consists of a score sheet for a song, notated by people sitting and walking in Coney Island. The photo montage by New York photographer Harold Feinstein was first published in The New York Times in 1952.
