Weetabix Big Day TV advert, launched in mid 2011, has won one a Gold and Silver award at the British Arrows. The commercial features members of a traditional nuclear family each explaining why they need a big bowl of Weetabix to provide slow release energy for the day. The conversation is stolen by the youngest member of the family. “That’s nothing!”

The Big Day ad was developed at BBH, London, by creative director/art director Dominic Goldman, creative director/copywriter David Kolbusz, art director Lewis Mooney, copywriter Ed Cole, designers Dominic Grant and Ali Augur, and agency producer Glenn Paton.
Filming was shot by director Guy Shelmerdine via Smuggler with producer Gustav Geldenhuys. Editing was Andy McGraw at Stitch Editing. Audio post production was done at 750mph. Visual effects were produced at Framestore, London, by a team led by Dave Ludlam.
