The Safest New Year
OVK (Ouders Van Verongelukte Kinderen), Parents of Road Victims in Belgium, recently commissioned a Happy New Year message in lights, making one of the darkest turns in Belgium, at the darkest time of year, less dangerous. The resulting video, online in French, Dutch and English at thesafestnewyear.com, shows the installation of the lights in Herne, Flanders, on December 30.

The Safest New Year campaign was developed at Happiness Brussels by creative managers Peter Ampe and Isabel Peeters, account manager Alan Cerutti, concept provider Patrick Glorieux, copywriters Patrick Glorieux and Quentin Watelet, head of art Cecilia Azcarate Isturiz, graphic designers Jeremy Vandenbosch and Margot Populaire, video director/editor Bob Jeusette, producer Bart Vande Maele, online producer Stijn Van Velthoven at BLISS Interactive, 3D design company Indianen and build up Rein Cosaert.
Music is “Winter Creatures” by Seattle band Grand Hallway.
