The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) is a registered charity based in London, combining critical thinking and debate with cutting edge research to promote the arts and encourage social progress. Since 2009 RSA has parterned with Cognitive Media to produce RSAnimate, a series of public addresses illustrated by cartoonist Andrew Park, available on the RSAOrg Youtube channel. The most recent RSAnimate features psychiatrist and writer Iain McGilchrist explaining how our ‘divided brain’ has profoundly altered human behaviour, culture and society.
