TBWA\Istanbul has won Grand Prix for Design of Brand & Corporate Identity at the 2012 Golden Drum Awards, for the agency’s collection of stationery. As TBWA globally changed its corporate typography to Helvetica the Istanbul agency redesigned all of its stationary items. Honouring the Helvetica spirit the agency team aimed to produce a Swiss approach to packaging, with everything stated and specified perfectly, including precise information about size, weight or materials used. An icon and a sentence was created for each item used in the office, including everything from cups to folders, notebooks to CD cases. The stationery is being sold at the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art and Delicatessen.
The stationery set was produced at TBWA\Istanbul by creative director/copywriter Ilkay Gurpinar, art director Zeynep Orbay, account directors/managers Burcu Ozdemir Kayimtu and Dilek Ucarli.
