Sprint has launched “Unlimited”, an advertising campaign promoting the teleco’s new Unlimited deal for mobile phones, providing unlimited data plus unlimited text and calling to any mobile. The first commercial in the campaign, featuring basketball star Kevin Durant, is centered around data dilemmas. With most mobile phone plans, when a person gets close of the end of the month or approaches their limit, they are faced with a tough choice: is a data download worth it?
The Doodle Jump ad features NBA star forward Kevin Durant highlighting tough questions people ask themselves if they don’t have an unlimited plan. Durant’s signature move is pitted against a mobile game “Doodle Jump.” For those without an unlimited data plan, “Doodle Jump” prevailed over Durant’s game-winning shot. The Sprint Unlimited campaign was developed at Team Sprint, (Digitas & Leo Burnett) by chief creative officer Susan Credle, creative directors Michael Boychuk, Kevin Drew Davis and Mark Moll, executive director of production Chris Rossiter, producer Bryan Litman, account team Vanessa Mackey and Melissa Wolf.
