Sharpie is showcasing the work of some of its most passionate fans in the brand’s first music video! The video, which premiered as a TV spot during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, features images chosen from 800 designs submitted to the Sharpie Gallery, set to “Purple”, a track by indie-rock band California Wives. The music video has been released as a commercial (30 seconds and 60 seconds) and as a full music video.

The Sharpie Music Video campaign was developed at DraftFCB, Chicago, by creative directors Gigi Carroll and Mike McGrath, art director Zack Fagin, director of content Ben Flaherty, group management directors Jen Rowland and Melanie Hellenga, music producer Stump Mahoney, producer Kelly Durham, account supervisor Lorrie Brooks and account executive Tracey Bien.
