Settling the Score
Radio New Zealand is running ”Settling the Score”, Radio New Zealand Concert’s annual survey of the most popular classical music in the country. The winning works were performed live at the Auckland Town Hall on November 15 by The Auckland Philharmonia, and will be repeated again on January 1. The event was promoted with a print advertisement pitching Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet III against Tchaichovsky’s 1812 Overture in a battle of notes, clefs, rests and accidentals.
The Settling The Score advertising campaign was developed at Clemenger BBDO, Wellington, by executive creative director Philip Andrew, creative director Brigid Alkema, art director Mike de Tullio, copywriter Mitch Alison, with illustration and retouching done at Lightfarm Studios by digital artist Simon McCormack.
