Angelica Dass a Brazilian designer living in Spain, has developed Humanae, a collection of portraits connected with Pantone skin tones. Humanae is a chromatic inventory, a project that reflects on the colors beyond the borders of our codes by referencing the PANTONE® color scheme. Hosted online at humane.tumblr.com is a set of photographs from sittings at two arts festivals, the Rojo Nova in Bancelona and De las Artes in Madrid, along with a few Spanish friends and photographers. The project’s objective is to record and catalog all possible human skin tones.
