Nissan is celebrating the first twelve months of the Nissan LEAF with “Singing Sockets”, a television commercial in which electricity sockets celebrate the car’s birthday. The video thanks 19,000 Nissan LEAF owners who’ve given the world over 32 million gas-free miles. Owners and friends are invited to mark the first months online at facebook.com/NissanLEAF, and on Twitter with the #LEAFbday tag.

The Singing Sockets campaign was developed at TBWA\Chiat\Day by executive creative director Rob Schwartz, creative directors Tito Melega, Karl Dunn, art director Liz Levy, executive producer Elaine Hinton and producer Katie Johnson.
Filming was shot by director Dan Marsh via MPC Creative with director of photography Mark Williams, executive producer Paul Abatemarco and line producer Jon Derovan.
Post production was done at MPC, New York, by executive producer Asher Edwards, head of production Jenny Bright, VFX supervisor Jake Montgomery, Flame artist Trent Shumway, CG artists Jonah Austin and Yas Koyama, Smoke artist Mark Holden.
