Match.com in the UK launched “Ukelele” in 2011, following on from the success of Accidental Duet (Piano) in 2010. Set on a railway platform in Sutton, the television commercial is a classic ‘boy meets girl’ story, designed to remind people what it feels like to meet someone you’re attracted to for the first time. The advert features the song She Began to Dance by Matthew P, sung to the accompaniment of an aNueNue Khaya Mahogany Soprano ukelele.

The spot features music created in collaboration with Fiction records (part of the Universal Music Group) and emerging British singer/songwriter Matthew P. The song “She Began to Dance” is available to download on iTunes.
