Mars Runaway Train

Mars Snackfood Australia is promoting the Mars Bar in a new advertising push beginning with “Runaway Train”, a television commercial set in the snow-capped Southern Alps. The conductor walks into the carriage to break the bad news that the brakes have frozen. Someone is needed to get on top of the carriage, get to the engine and cut the fluid line. There are plenty of capable people on board but all eyes go to the guy eating a Mars chocolate bar. “With a Mars comes great responsibility.”

Why can’t we hear this conversation? And why make this commercial?

I dont think they have ever shown the beginning of the ad. I have never understood what was going on until I googled it.
