Arthur’s Day, the celebration of the founder of Guinness, brings fans together to experience live music events in over 500 intimate venues around the island of Ireland, all over the world, and for the first time yesterday in Great Britain, including surprise performances in small pubs. Sir Tom Jones, Razorlight, Wretch 32 and V V Brown all performed at a celebratory concert last night at Senate House in London, while artists as diverse as Example, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Mika, Professor Green, Fat Boy Slim, Texas, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Amy Macdonald, Primal Scream and Mumford and Sons performed around Ireland. Arthur’s Day celebrations have been held for the past four years in over 55 countries including Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Caribbean nations, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Ireland and Great Britain.
