Hulu is running “#mushymush”, an advertising campaign centred on the 2012 Super Bowl featuring TV presenter/alien Will Arnett. The campaign continues the Evil Plot to Destroy the World concept originally revealed during the 2009 Super Bowl by Alec Baldwin, with later spots featuring Seth MacFarlane, Eliza Dushku and Denis Leary. Will Arnett (“Arrested Development,” “Up All Night,” “30 Rock”) now tempts humanity with details of the latest, slam-dunk, brain-rotting, alien-nourishing innovation, Hulu Plus.
Your mom was right. Your teacher was right. TV will rot your brain – if it is done right. Now Hulu is making sure that it’s done righter than right with an Evil Plot to provide brain-rotting TV shows on a ubiquity of devices through Hulu Plus. Mmm…#mushymush.
