Hovis, the British bread brand, is running “Farmer’s Lad”, a television commercial in which a boy finds out just how hard his father works all day. The “Farmer’s Lad” perseveres through a full day’s hard work, earning his father’s respect. The ad is designed to demonstrate the hard work and endeavour that goes into every Hovis 100% British Farmers Loaf. The Farmers Loaf ad is supported by radio, digital and PR activity, including sponsorship of British Sandwich Week.

The Farmer’s Lad ad was developed at Dare London by creative director Danny Brooke Taylor, creatives Gavin Torrance and Danny Hunt, and agency producer Lorraine Geoghegan.
Visual effects were produced at Moving Picture Company, London, by VFX producer Sam Davidson, VFX team Ludo Fealy and Franck Lambertz, and colorist Jean-Clement Soret.
