Director Alex Feil talks about working with Nicklas Lidström and Corey Perry.
“Seeing how fiercely competitive these two guys are on the ice you wouldn’t think they’d cooperate on set, but they did. They were incredibly professional and dedicated. Good actors, too. That’s always a concern when working with athletes, who also often have a very limited amount of time to shoot. I love the quirky traditions in hockey; they’re like no other. I’ve become a fan of the sport since filming the spot and look forward to someday heaving a ten-pound octopus on the ice!”
