Expedia, the internet-based travel company, is running “Find Your Understanding”, a television commercial featuring the journey of Artie Goldstein, a man who travels across the country to attend his daughter’s same-gender wedding. The journey that will test him, challenge him, and ultimately change him in unexpected ways. Although Goldstein doesn’t officially give his blessing at first, the film captures his journey to Jill’s wedding anyway. The ad is part of the “Find Yours” advertising campaign featuring the discoveries made by real people using Expedia.

The Find Yours campaign was developed at 180 LA, Los Angeles, by executive creative director William Gelner, creative directors Gavin Milner, Grant Holland, copywriter Mike Burdick, art director Mike Bokman, executive producer Peter Cline, senior producer Lorraine Kraus, director of client services Chad Bettor, account manager Brooke Stites, account coordinator Sarah Lynch, business affairs manager Nestor Gandia and researcher Aine Carey.
Filming was shot in Georgia and Los Angeles by director Eliot Rausch via Uber Content with director of photography/2nd unit director Ed David, executive producer Preston Lee, executive producer Phyllis Koenig, line producer Steve Jordan.
Editor was Gabriel Britz at Rock Paper Scissors with post producer Cassie Hulen and assistant editor Ko Massiah. Completion, special effects were produced at Speedmedia by colorist/VFX supervisor Nick Alexander, Flame artist assistant Aly Parmelee and producer Adam Buchanen.
