Crime Stoppers in Queensland, Australia, has launched “Do you recognise this person?”, an advertising campaign based on the identikit concept. Crime Stoppers Queensland had never conducted any marketing directly associated with volunteer recruitment. Being an organisation that relies upon volunteers for it’s daily operations, the focus was to increase awareness and excite people about becoming a community volunteer. In the three television commercials the notices surrounding the Crime Stoppers posters come to life and discuss the benefits of being a volunteer.
