Diet Mountain Dew is presented as the drink for thrill seekers in “Livin’ the Life”, a television commercial directed by Tony Scott, who died this weekend. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban discovers that a Diet Mountain Dew has beaten him to the Diet Mountain Dew in the store. Nothing he can offer, not even a blank check, will persuade the thrill seeking fan to part with his drink.
